In my thirty years experience as a veterinarian, I am blessed by operating a house call practice in HRM, which has been teaching me the ways of a country vet. Vetwise Animal Hospital, in Downtown Dartmouth, beside Sullivan's Pond, embraces the pleasures of a clinic with a menagerie in a Garden of Eden, which I, personally, designed and planted. The interior of our veterinary clinic is built with exquisite wood, the tranquility that makes my patients feel at home and, if you have any doubts, ask our African Grey Parrot, Mugsey. The lower of the three spacious levels, here at Vetwise, was formerly a physician's office. It has been transformed into a relaxing space. It includes in-floor heating, and daylight spectrum lighting throughout where my patients can bide their time and recover in comfort. We are able to provide the services here at Vetwise, with the expertise of our wonderful staff, talented office manager Debora, and the continuing education we receive.

The Cat House The Cat House (boarding cats since 1990), is located near Sullivan's Pond in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, Canada. Vetwise makes every effort to provide our feline guests with a complete vacation package while you are away. We have several luxurious spaces for your cat to enjoy the sunny views of Halifax Harbour lined by the trees of the former Dartmouth Commons, frequented by local songbirds. Your cat will be serenaded with live entertainment provided by our African Grey Parrot Mugsey, who knows ‘kitty talk’. Our knowledgeable veterinary staff is prepared to provide your cat with any special needs it may have. |
