Our skilled team performs routine dental cleaning and polishing; deciduous and adult teeth extractions; and dental homecare advice and products.

Fast and reliable results! Pre-anesthetic Blood Testing; Heartworm Tests; Feline Leukemia Tests; Senior Lab Screening; Thyroid Function Tests; Urinalysis; Stool Analysis; External Parasites (lice, mites, fleas) analysis; Tissue & Fluid Analysis.
SURGERY
Our skillful Doctors and Animal Health Technologists perform routine elective surgeries such as spays and neuters on dogs, cats, rabbits and ferrets; feline declaws are also performed. General trauma surgery, soft tissue/abdominal surgery, and orthopedic surgery are offered.
ANESTHESIA & PAIN CONTROL
The comfort and safety of your pet are our goals in preparing anesthetic protocols! Injectable and gas anesthesia and customized medications for sedation and pain management are provided for your pet. Pain control options for animals with arthritis pain or injuries are offered.
RADIOLOGY & E.C.G.
In-house radiology equipment provides x-rays. X-rays and E.C.G.'s are used for routine screens and medical and emergency diagnoses. Hip and elbow radiographs for OFA evaluation are also available.
HOSPITALIZATION & SPECIAL NEEDS PATIENT BOARDING
We make special effort to provide comfort for your pet while under our care. All hospitalized patients are treated individually and monitored closely throughout the day. Warmth, padded bedding, cleanliness, and of course TLC are all important aspects of our patient care.
HOUSECALL SERVICES
If it is difficult to travel to us with your pet, we can perform routine, non-surgical procedures for your pet in your home.
EUTHANASIA
Our compassionate team can provide a comfortable environment and special care that your animal companion deserves. Our cremation service offers you options for after-care, including individual urns, cedar boxes, or scatterboxes.
REFERRAL LABORATORIES
Extensive analyses are provided in an accurate, timely fashion by labs in Alberta, B.C., and Saskatchewan. Allergy testing, Von Willebrands and other clotting disorders, tumor analysis, and testing for many metabolic diseases can be performed by these specialized labs.
SPECIALIST REFERRAL
We have a network of specialists available to provide advanced care for your pet! Doctors specializing in surgery, ultrasound, radiology, eye and skin conditions, dental procedures, and many other areas of expertise are available in Edmonton and Calgary.
EMERGENCY & CRITICAL CARE
We offer extended hours for your convenience and to provide assistance for sudden illness or accidents. AFTER HOURS emergency care is provided in Edmonton by: Edmonton Veterinarians Emergency Clinic 433-9505 or Animal Emergency Hospital South 436-5880.
PET ADOPTION, FOSTER HOME AND RESCUE SOCIETIES
Our work in placing lost pets impounded through the Town of Morinville or the City of St. Albert is supported by NASAP, SHARES, the Hervey Foundation, and others. Give us a call if you are thinking about adopting a new pet! We often have animals available in the clinic.

LOST or STRAY ANIMALS
MVC is the holding facility for stray animals impounded by the Town of Morinville and the City of St Albert. Check our website for photos of stray animals currently in clinic. Click on the Pet Photo Gallery tab, and look at album '1.'Lost and Found Strays'. If you have lost your pet, call your local bylaw officer, in Morinville, call 780-939-4361, in St Albert, call 780-458-4300.
You may also call us at the clinic at 780-939-3133.
Stray pets will be released to their owner upon presentation of a receipt from the jurisdiction, indicating payment of the applicable fine.
(If you have lost your pet within Sturgeon County, call 780-939-4321 as we do not hold pets lost in this jurisdiction.)
BOARDING
Our newly constructed housing wing includes a pet hotel with 6' x 6' suites, 3' x 6' cabins, 4' x 6' cabins, smaller hostel units, a segration ward for difficult to handle dogs as well as those needing quarantine due to human/dog biting incidents. We also have a dedicated cat condo area. Grooming and bathing facility is also available. Check out our photo gallery which shows all areas.
GROOMING
We are pleased to welcome our new pet stylist, RHONDA JONES. Rhonda will be taking appointments for cat and dog grooming starting June 17, 2008. Please call her for more details. Have a look at our grooming facility in the pet photo gallery! She will groom your dog or cat, big or small. Nail trims for lizards are also done by Rhonda.

Should you come across an injured bird, or any other wildlife, you should first try to contact the Wildlife Rehabilitation Society of Edmonton by calling their hotline 780-914-4118.
