Time for an Examination - Don't Worry, It's Not Graded!

A visit with the vet doesn't have to be all bad.... You can expect your pet to get a full physical exam at each visit. We do our best to make the experience positive for your pets - offering bribes of cookies and lots of attention to those who want them.

More Tests....

If your healthy pet is entering their golden years, or if they're feeling under the weather, we have the capacity to run many lab tests in house. Whether it be an ear infection, odd growth, blood, pee or poop - we can usually have answers the same day! We can also send samples away to the specialists, for those not-so-straight-forward cases....

Paging a Doctor to the OR...

We have a fully equipped operating room, with an anesthetic machine, a doppler machine for pulse/blood pressure monitoring, and a laser machine. The laser cauterizes the blood vessels as it cuts, leading to a faster surgery and more comfortable healing period. Dr. Barb is our local orthopedic expert, willing to repair bones and joints as needed.

  Brush Your Teeth....Round and Round...

As our pets live longer lives, dental care is becoming more and more important. Plaque and tartar accumulations on the teeth serve as a "home" for bacteria. As the pet chews, these bacteria enter the bloodstream, most commonly causing infection in the liver, kidneys, or heart valves. A "dental prophy" or prophylactic cleaning under anesthetic is the first step to getting a clean slate for home dental care. Once the teeth have been cleaned up, tooth brushing and/or special diets can be used to keep the teeth pearly white.

A Home Away From Home

If you're travelling without your pet, consider having them come stay with us. Our spacious kennels and caring staff will allow your pet to have a vacation while you do! Dogs are walked at least twice daily, even on weekends. Come on in to the clinic and take a closer look.
